My School Results 2011

Again, we have achieved exceptional 'My School' and 'Like School' results:

 

Each year in term 2 all Year 3 and Year 5 students in Australian primary schools complete the National Assessment Program Literacy and Numeracy (NAPLAN). Later that year in term 4, each school receives results related to its performance and the performance of each of its year 3 and year 5 students.

 

In the following year, the Federal government publishes some of these results on its ‘MY SCHOOL' website, which it did 2 weeks ago. The most important information, or data, involves comparing a particular school's results with ‘Like Schools' across Australia. Our ‘Like Schools' are schools across Australia which have the similar types of families and students to our school.

 

For the 4^th consecutive year since ‘Like Schools' was introduced, we have outperformed the average ‘Like School' in EVERY Year 3 area and EVERY Year 5 area. This year is no exception. These results demonstrate that we have developed an excellent learning community where our teachers, students and parents work together harmoniously and productively to achieve outstanding outcomes.
