Auburn North celebrated Eid with the parents of our school during a special lunch in Harmony House on Thursday 31st July. More than 25 parents joined in the celebrations.
The parents brought with them beautiful home made food such as Afghani Biryani, Turkish lentil koftas, Lebanese fallafel, Indian pallou, as well as a wide range of sweets to enjoy.
One of our mums said:
"I am so happy to be here today as I miss my family and friends in India. My friends at this school have become very important to me and its nice to be togther at Eid."
Another mum explained:
"Thank you for organising this Eid celebration today. It means a lot to me and my daughter, Fatima".
A third mum expressed her feelings this way:
"Thank you and happy Eid to everyone. I love Harmony House"
