Our ‘Harmony House' program has been an integral component of our special school learning community since 2004. We have been so fortunate to have Mrs Christine Daujotis as the facilitator of the program since it commenced.
The main purpose of the Harmony House program is to provide early intervention programs for children aged 1 to 8-years-of-age and their parents. The program aims to provide a wide range of initiatives to assist young children develop physically, socially, emotionally and intellectually.
The program also includes a range of initiatives for our parents.
Harmony House really is YOUR house. Initiatives include:
- Tuesday playgroup
- Wednesday playgroup
- English classes for parents (‘beginners' and ‘intermediate')
- Parent excursions
- Cooking classes
- Needlecraft classes
- Blanket making classes
- Mothers netball group
- Fathers soccer group
